Our Unique Design-Build Process

Our unique design-build approach is process-oriented, and includes discussion of design and cost together before we draw a line. We partner with some of the finest contractors in D.C., Maryland, and virginia to bring you a quick, efficient design and construction process that will minimize your time and energy.

Phase I - Feasability (4-5 weeks)

We will measure the existing house and do as-built plans of the affected area, and work with you to develop a program, design the addition and do a feasability estimate of the proposed concept.

Phase II - Construction Drawings

We will take the feasability drawings and work with you to select cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, and all hardware for the job. Most of this can be done at our office, as we have many samples available.
The completed drawings will include detailed specifications of all selections. We prefer to minimize the number or allowances, and try to select everything and price everything before we start construction. At the end of this phase, we will give you a fixed price cost for your project.We work hard to insure that this cost is within the previously quoted range.

Phase III - Constuction

We will file for permit and construction can commence.
